Trekking along the ridges above Pregasina with a view of Lakes Garda and Ledro.
This is a beautiful, panoramic and sunny route that leads to the rewarding Cima Nara, a little-known peak in the Prealpi di Garda - Ledro chain. The first part follows the paths that connect the "Bocca di Larici" with the "Prati di Guil".

This route is suitable for spring and autumn because the days are not too hot; it is often practicable in winter (check for snow).

From the locality Pregasina, follow the forest path (Strada Palaer) towards "Bocca Larici." Follow the signs for trail 422B towards "Malga Palaer" and "Bocca Larici." You reach the pass at 907m altitude and continue towards Malga Palaer always on trail 422B.
You reach the beautiful meadow of the hut at 946m altitude. Behind it, you can notice the "green" ridge of Cima Nara. Continue further on trail 422B ascending to "Passo Rocchetta" (1159m) and then to "Prati di Guil" (1240m).
At Prati di Guil, leave trail 422B and take, on the right, the marking 430. With a beautiful and panoramic walk, you arrive at Cima Nara in about one hour of walking. The view of Lake Garda is very beautiful.
You return by the ascent route or by making a loop passing through Cima Al Bal on trails 430, 429, and 422.
Valle di Ledro is connected to Riva del Garda by the intercity bus line 214 (Riva-Valle di Ledro-Storo).
From Riva del Garda continue in the direction of Valle di Ledro. After passing the first tunnel, turn left and follow the signs to Pregasina.
Free parking close to the church in Pregasina.
You need to wear the right clothing and take the proper gear when you go hiking in the mountains. Even on relatively short easy outings make sure to take all you need so you don't run into trouble if things take an unexpected turn, for example a storm blows up or you have a sudden drop in energy levels.

Your rucksack (for a day trip a 25/30L capacity should do) should contain:
Make sure you're wearing the right footwear for the trail and season. The going can get rough and rocky underfoot and a pair of hiking boots will protect you from sprains. When wet, a grassy slope, rocky slab or steep trail can be dangerous unless you are wearing the proper footwear.
